I was recently doing some research on the benefits of taking fish oil supplements for the brain, heart and even depression. I definitely want to improve my brain power, I want a healthy heart and I have mood swings that I want to get rid of. Fish oil is excellent for doing all of the above! And of course, since I'm constantly trying to match inner beauty with outer beauty, I also wanted to find out if there are any benefits for the skin in taking fish oil. And there are! I'd like to quote a part of this article that I found on the web just to give you an idea of what this powerful supplement can do for your outer beauty:

"Fish oil containing the Omega 3 essential fatty acid EPA helps to prevent wrinkles and can delay the ageing process of the skin according to recent research published in the Journal of Lipid Research in 2005. Scientists have also found that fish oil containing EPA can limit the damage to the skin produced by overexposure to the sun and help to reduce the negative effect of UV rays. This has particular relevance when we consider the recent and dramatic rise in cases of skin cancers caused predominantly by exposure to the suns harmful rays."
